Our mission is to motivate kids to thrive in life
through sports by inspiring, educating and uniting
young athletes, parents and coaches.

The Problem

Youth sports programs are intended to be fun and teach skills, lifetime values, healthy competition and camaraderie. However, there are serious values oriented and practical challenges within today's youth sports arena. The Citizenship Through Sports Alliance has concluded that the state of youth sports has been worsening over the past decade. The unfortunate endgame: 70% of youth athletes quit playing any organized sport by the time they are 13 years old. We are failing our children.

The problems are unfortunately apparent every weekend on playing fields and courts across America: yelling parents, pouting kids, and frustrated coaches. There is too much emphasis on winning, shameful role models amongst some professional sports athletes, and tough challenges in teaching kids the fundamentals of sportsmanship, commitment, and teamwork. Parents lack the skills to handle conflicts with their kids, coaches and other parents. Coaches face challenges finding quality instructional materials, managing difficult parents, and handling communications logistics to manage their teams. Sourcing of quality information to educate parents and coaches is another major problem because of fragmentation of youth sports related information on the Internet --- too often the most useful information is on the tenth page of a Google search.

Inspire, Educate, & Unite

There are over 170 million people in the United States who are involved in youth sports. Trusted Sport's objective is to be the leading "go-to" resource that inspires, educates, and unites the youth sports community. We are in the process of creating a Trusted Sports community through an integrated online and mobile platform that monumentally improves communications, education, aggregation of information, and sharing amongst all involved in a young athlete's sports life.

The Trusted Sports community will have educational content, videos, communications tools, and fun applications specifically tailored for use by parents, coaches and youth athletes. Parents will be able to easily establish a secure Community centered on their kids and connecting with grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Coaches will be able to easily establish a secure Community for the purpose of connecting all parents, coaches and kids on their team.

Trusted Sports has developed an inspirational awards platform to recognize youth athletes who are recognized not because of their statistics, but rather based on their ability to inspire their teammates, classmates and local communities. We launched the High School Football Rudy Awards to honor high school football players who demonstrate the exemplary values of inspirational football legend Daniel 'Rudy' Ruettiger, the subject of the beloved and inspirational film RUDY. This award will not be won by the most talented players, but rather the Rudy Awards measure the size of a player's heart.
